Croke Park Agreement
The Staff of Kingsland NS meet each morning 9.00am for school planning and staff meetings. It should not be used
as a drop off time for children. School day starts at 9.20am. Also, staff remain on the premises until 3.30pm in the
evenings. School closes at 3.00pm. On Mondays the Staff remain in the school until 4.00pm as part of the Hours in the Croke Park agreement.

Please contact school if you require an enrolment pack for new Infant for Sept 2017.

Please note there will be No Swimming Lessons organised this year.
There is no Christmas Concern this coming year. (As it is every two years)
General Info:
- Please ensure that your child’s name is on any items of clothing brought to school as they can easily get mixed up, jumpers and coats especially. So also with generally stationary items, pencil cases....
- Please adhere to our Healthy Lunch Policy. No Fizzy drinks allowed. Two Treats on a Friday...
- School uniform to be worn, (leggins are not part of the school uniform) suitable footwear for playing during breaks should be worn. Navy blue. No stripes, or Logos on Tracksuits.
- In the interest of personal safety and hygiene long hair should be tied up.
- If your child is absent from school, please send in a written note at the back of the Homework Notebook on their return..
- If you have any queries or concerns please contact the class teacher or school principal and they will arrange to meet with you are their earliest convenience.
- Mrs. Carr has again kindly offered to come on a Friday and will be taking in groups of children for Literacy this Term. She is Garda Vetted and a Qualified Teacher (Retired).
- Marcena Davitt is our Special Needs Assistant and Frances Dolan will be job sharing this year with Marcena.
- We welcome Ms Madden our new Learning Support/ Resource Teacher for this year and Ms Heavy who will be doing some Resource Hours for the school this year..
- The school has a Book Rental Policy in place and Textbooks in Maths, English and Irish are available
- Computer Classes will be arranged during Term 1 for all children from Jun Infants upwards. Paid from PA fundraising.

Thank You: To Mrs Carr who has again volunteered her services this year, we are very fortunate to have access to
somebody with so much experience in all areas of the curriculum and also willing to do it voluntary.
(And has Garda Vetting through the VEC and is registered with the T.C.).
Teaching Council: All Teachers are members of the Teaching Council and are Garda Vetted.
